Polyrhythmics - Life From Below

Seattle-based Polyrhythmics celebrate 15 years with Life from Below, their eighth full-length album and a bold new chapter in their evolution. Blending funk, soul, psychedelic rock, Afrobeat, and more, the seven-piece ensemble continues to redefine instrumental music with adventurous spirit and deep groove.

Recorded live in studio, Life from Below bridges the raw energy of their live shows with studio depth featuring standout tracks like "Mayo con Yayo," "Chophouse," and "Smoke & Mirrors," the latter marking their first full collaboration with powerhouse vocalist Adryon de León. It's a vibrant, groove-forward record that honors their roots while exploring new sonic terrain.
